Daily keeps your data on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no advertising.
Daily is made by OMANN.ORG ApS, CVR DK41276940, Denmark. For anything about this policy or your data, write to support@getdaily.app.
If you link an anchor to Apple Health (a Daily Pro feature), Daily reads your workouts and mindful minutes for today so that anchor ticks itself. Daily only reads, never writes to Health, and nothing it reads leaves your device.
With Daily Pro, if you allow calendar access, Daily reads your events to show them alongside your day. Daily never sends the events it reads anywhere.
With Daily Pro, if you turn on two-way calendar sync, Daily also writes your planned efforts as events into the calendar you choose (one calendar by default, or a separate calendar for each category), and reads changes to those events back. Your calendar account (iCloud, Google, Outlook, or whichever holds that calendar) then syncs those events like any other event, so they leave your device through your own calendar account, not through us. Daily only ever changes or deletes events it created itself. Everything else in your calendars is read-only to Daily.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. Nothing is sent to a server.
Daily Pro is bought through Apple. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. Daily checks with Apple on your device whether you own Daily Pro.
Efforts, timers, and history are stored locally on your device, and are included in your device's own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you have those turned on. Deleting the app deletes them from your device. Events Daily wrote to your calendar belong to your calendar account and stay there after you delete the app; turn off two-way sync in Daily first and it removes the ones for recent and upcoming days. We cannot access or recover them.
If you tap Submit feedback in Settings, Daily opens an email draft in your mail app. Under your message it lists a few anonymous counts — how many days you've planned, which features you've used, which settings you've changed — to help us decide what to improve. It never includes the names of your efforts, notes, or anything you've typed. You can read, edit, or delete that list before sending, and nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself.
